Can’t swim won’t swim.

You think you’ve got it
But you haven’t,
You think you’re on it
But your not;
You better watch
As it unravels
And begins
To turn and clot.

Because you’re dreams
Have been impinged on,
And contracted
Actual woes,
As their seams
Have all been singed off
And attracted
Undertows.

And you can’t move
Ever inland,
Growing higher
Than the ground,
For the ditch has proved
Resilient
In its desire
To surround.
